Students who complete Lehigh's demanding Computer Science and Business program receive a unique joint degree from the College of Business and the Rossin College.
Through a range of coursework and projects, students obtain the skills necessary to understand business-related functions and problems, analyze business-user information needs, design computer-based information systems, and implement systems solutions in organizations. Students can concentrate in areas such as finance, accounting, economics, and various subdisciplines within computer science. Required computing courses include database systems, operating systems, algorithms, computer architecture, programming, and software engineering. Business courses include accounting, finance, marketing, management, and economics.
CSB graduates often join accounting, consulting, computing firms, or sign on with startups; or continue their studies to earn an advanced degree. Many of today’s most pressing issues demand solutions that defy traditional academic advanced degrees.
