Paul Camuti was named Senior Vice President, Innovation and Chief Technology Officer of Ingersoll Rand in August 2011. Paul joined Ingersoll Rand from Siemens Corporation, where he served in senior leadership roles for more than 16 years. Paul most recently served as President of Smart Grid Applications for Siemens Energy Inc., where he focused on the development and delivery of Smart Grid products, services and solutions across the entire energy conversion chain.

Previously, Paul was President and CEO of Siemens Corporate Research, one of several Siemens Corporate Technology innovative research centers worldwide. Additional experience includes leadership roles with Siemens Energy and Automation, where he founded the company's Industrial Software business, as well as work with Eaton Corporation, Cutler Hammer and Westinghouse Electric.

Camuti oversees the full spectrum of the innovation and technology continuum within Ingersoll Rand, including advanced technology development; product, system and solution design and development; engineering; and product and service commercialization. In addition, he leads the company's efforts to improve the speed and execution of innovation, and integrate processes across the business. Camuti is also responsible for cultivating key alliances with external constituents to enrich the advanced technology and innovation capabilities of the business.

Paul received a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA, and completed the Siemens Advanced Management Program at The Fuqua School of Business at Duke University in Durham, NC.
