International students have the option to complete an Optional Practical Training (OPT) upon graduation from the MEng in Structural Engineering program.
OPT allows eligible F-1 students to work in their field of study for up to 12 months, with the possibility of an additional 24 month extension. Many of the international students graduating from the MEng in Structural Engineering program have used this opportunity to secure employment in the US.
