  • Baltrusaitis Lab - This Lab specializes on sustainable catalytic processes of natural gas and biomass component catalytic transformations.

  • Buceta Lab - Research focuses on computational/theoretical approaches for understanding and modeling biological systems. The nickname of the group is The.Si.M.Bio.Sys. (Theoretical and In Silico Modeling of Biological Systems).

  • IMBT Unit Ops Laboratory - The undergraduate chemical processing laboratory.

  • Laboratory for Particle Mixing and Self-Organization Research focusing on convective deposition, suspension rheology,

  • field-driven assembly, granular dynamics, Applications involving coatings, LEDs/OLEDs, membranes, microfluidics, solar cells, biotechnology/clinical diagnosis, granular mixing/segregation, vibrofluidization.

  • Operando Molecular Spectroscopy and Catalysis Research Lab - Catalysis research has always been to be able to ‘see’ the nature of the catalytic active sites and the reaction intermediates under realistic reaction conditions to allow direct correlation of molecular/electronic structures with catalyst performance (activity & selectivity) and reaction kinetics.

  • The Jagota Group Lab - The organizing theme for our work is the study of problems in the processing and properties of materials, especially those related to bioengineering. We combine theory and experiments in our work. Our current interests include hybrids of biological molecules and nanomaterials, biomimetic design of surface mechanical properties, and the mechanics of soft materials.

  • The Mittal Research Group (Biophysics & Soft Matter) - Current research interests include theory and simulation of:  Hydrophobic effects, Interfacial thermodynamics, Macromolecular crowding, Nanoscale transport, Nucleic acid behavior at bio-nano interfaces, Protein stability and dynamics, Protein-protein interactions.
