Scott DeNegre is Senior Vice President and Chief Performance Officer of HSS, the world’s leading academic medical center focused on musculoskeletal health. As a member of the HSS Executive Leadership, Scott has formal responsibility for Operational Excellence, Data Science & Analytics, and OR Capacity Management and is directly responsible for a portfolio of transformation projects spanning the clinical and operational enterprise. He also founded and serves as the Executive Director for the HSS Center for Analytics Modeling, and Performance (CAMP).
Dr. DeNegre joined HSS in 2013 to build the Operational Excellence program and lead the organization’s continuous improvement strategy, leveraging several years of experience helping healthcare organizations manage their operational and strategic challenges and developing innovative solutions to increase efficiency, improve clinical outcomes, and enhance patient experience. Prior to joining HSS, Scott was a consultant with The Chartis Group, an advisory services firm that provides management consulting and applied research to leading healthcare organizations. In this role, he provided client support in the areas of enterprise strategic planning, capacity management, merger & acquisition planning, and cost and clinical performance improvement Scott holds a BS in Mathematical Sciences from Johns Hopkins University, an MS in Management Science from Lehigh University, and a PhD in Industrial & Systems Engineering from Lehigh University.
