Our holistic graduate and professional environment combines highly regarded programs with robust support for graduate life—a rich ground in which to grow your passion and make an impact.

Lehigh grad students regularly present their research at local, national, and international conferences and workshops, and they are routinely recognized in these settings through competitive awards and travel grants. Lehigh's Center for Career and Professional Development hosts events throughout the year to connect graduate students with the resources they need to achieve their career goals. Recreational activities and learning programs offered by the Graduate Life Office enhance students' academic, personal, and professional development and build a sense of engagement, belonging, and community that transcends academic fields and engineering disciplines. The Data Science program is headquartered on Lehigh's historic Mountaintop Campus. Built both for comfort and speed, Building C has broad, clear sight lines, glass and steel encased classrooms and offices, and panoramic views of the Lehigh Valley; it is also wired with up-to-the-minute data and networking connectivity. There are plenty of welcoming meeting places where you might run into faculty from other fields, and have the kind of impromptu conversations that lead to unexpected insights. The building sports a feature called Mixing Boxes, glass-enclosed meeting rooms that overlook the expansive bays. It’s not all glam though. In a reverent nod to the manufacturing history of the former Bethlehem Steel structure, the university's architects preserved many of the original features of the building in developing it into a modern, tech-friendly center of innovation.
