Graduate Degree Admission Requirements
If you will have an undergraduate degree at the time the M. Eng. in Technical Entrepreneurship (TE) program begins on July 1, you are eligible to submit an application for admission. The TE graduate program is build on an interdisciplinary approach, and as such, encourages application from candidates with any undergraduate major (including those in engineering, business, the natural sciences, the social sciences, the arts, and the humanities).
The materials required for application as a regular graduate student P.C. Rossin College of Engineering and Applied Science at Lehigh University are as follows; only complete applications will be processed:
- the online application, which includes your resume and a personal essay; select a start date of 'Summer 2024'
- transcripts for all post-secondary education (unofficial transcripts are acceptable for admission review; official transcripts will be required before the program start)
- a $50 application fee
- two letters of recommendation
- (if applicable) Internet-based Test of English as a Foreign Language (iBTOEFL) or International English Language Test System (IELTS) scores for prospective students whose native language is not English; the full policy for international student and English proficiency can be found via this link.
Note: GREs are not required.
In order to be considered for admission as a regular graduate student, an applicant must satisfy at least one of the following conditions, noting that satisfying one of these five conditions is necessary but not sufficient for admission as a regular graduate student:
- have an undergraduate grade point average (GPA) of at least 2.75 out of 4.0
- have a GPA of at least 3.00 for the last two semesters of undergraduate study
- have scores at or above the 75th percentile on the GRE or other recognized exam
- have a graduate GPA of at least 3.00 on a minimum of twelve hours of graduate work at other institutions
- have successfully completed the probationary conditions as an associate graduate student.

Graduate Degree Admission Timeline
Beginning on September 1, applications to the M. Eng. in Technical Entrepreneurship may be submitted. Decisions on applications completed by December 1 will be communicated to the applicant by December 22. Decisions on applications completed after December 1 will be communicated to the applicant on a rolling basis.
