Undergraduate Laboratory Assistant

The Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering is looking for 1-2 students interested in setting up, designing, and running experiments in support of the department's teaching laboratories.

General duties include but are not limited to designing and editing marketing materials, photography, videography, social media outreach, event preparations, special projects for department events and other duties as assigned. Photography, videography, and social media skills preferred. ~5-6 hours per week. Student(s) will work directly with Department Coordinator.

CHE 001 Teaching Assistant
The department is looking for 1-2 students who are interested in a part time position helping with the CHE001 Coffee and Cosmetics course. Qualified students are those who have a chemical engineering major and have taken the course or have senior status and expressed interest in the coffee and/or cosmetics industries.
 
TAs will have the following duties:
1) Help mentor 8-12 midterm and final project groups in determining their subject and giving feedback on their poster.
2) Reviewing posters at the midterm and final poster presentations (attendance at these 2 in-class poster sessions is required - the instructor will work with you on potential conflicts)
3) Design at least 1 creative assignment that engages students in the areas of coffee, cosmetics, or chemical engineering aspects of consumer products or guest lecture on one topic of their choice (approved by the instructor) 
4) Developing social media and/or website updates that promote chemical engineering through coffee, cosmetics, and consumer products to the greater Lehigh community. This may include fund-raising activities as a mode of social engagement.
5) Provide other general support for the course (setting up/breaking down for poster sessions and other events, organizing groups, general communications) including holding office hours in the weeks leading up to each midterm
