BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Southside Bethlehem Keystone Innovation Zone (KIZ) has awarded two technology transfer grants to assist two companies and their growth.

Revivify, a medical device company, which created a product to provide optimal healing and decrease recovery time with a variety of joint injuries, has been awarded the $15,000 grant. They will use this financial gain to help commercialize their product by securing intellectual property, obtaining FDA approvals and developing a prototype, according to a news release from the Bethlehem Economic Development Corporation.

Vidura Tech, a product development company, which created a device that augments a regular yoga mat by providing alignment and balance cues to users with tactile, audio and visual feedback, is the second recipient of the $15,000 grant. The company plans to use the money for commercialization of their product and to launch and build a marketing campaign.

"This is an amazing opportunity for our startup. What began as a grad school project has become a real company with enough funding to launch here in the Lehigh Valley. We are so thankful to be a part of the KIZ and look forward to the start of a successful business relationship," said CEO of Vidura Tech Rob Lombino in a news release.

In 2017, the KIZ invested over $500,000 to KIZ companies.
