On February 5, 2026, Lehigh University participated in the Three-Minute Thesis Competition (3MT). The 3MT is an international competition that showcases the amazing research conducted by graduate students and their hard work. The 3MT was started by The University of Queensland and showcases students' academic, research communication, and presentation skills, and supports the capacity to effectively and inspiringly explain what their research is about in 3 minutes to a non-specialist audience. We are proud to say that from the CEE department, Oluwabunmi Iwakin won first place, and Nazia Raza received the People's Choice Recognition Award. Both PhD students conduct research with faculty member Dr. Farrah Moazeni.
