At the recently held awards ceremony of the P. C. Rossin College of Engineering and Applied Science on April 26, 2018, a number of faculty members and students in the department were honored for excellence in research, teaching and scholarship.
These honors are listed below:
(1) Rossin Assistant Professor: Dr. Srinivas Rangarajan, "awarded to the most outstanding junior faculty in the P.C. Rossin College of Engineering and Applied Science who demonstrate high potential for establishing a successful academic career at Lehigh through the integration of teaching and research."
(2) Rossin doctoral fellows: Samira Anbari Meybodi, Shannon Collins, Nur Koncuy Ozdemir, John Sakizadeh, for graduate students who have demonstrated exceptional potential for pursuing future careers in academia.
(3) Rossin junior fellows: Shailagne Yutuc, Nicholas Fox, Kenneth Honer, for junior students who have demonstrated academic excellence and citizenship to the college and university.
(4) Educational Excellence Award: Professor Mark Snyder This award recognizes a full-time Rossin College faculty member who has demonstrated effective teaching and an outstanding commitment to the success of their students.
(5) Research Leadership Award: Professor Israel Wachs This award recognizes a full-time Rossin College faculty member who is considered to be a prominent research leader in their field, thus bringing significant recognition to Lehigh.
(6) Faculty Scholarship Award: Professor Manoj Chaudhury This award recognizes a full-time Rossin College faculty member who has demonstrated scholarship through outstanding contributions (publications, patents, etc.) that have had a significant impact within their field of research, thus bringing significant recognition to Lehigh.Rossin College Awards Ceremony 2018
