MechE alum is new business development manager for blow molding machinery designer, manufacturer

Chuck Flammer '89, a mechanical engineering alumnus, has joined Bekum America Corporation, a leading designer and manufacturer of blow molding machinery, as its business development manager. Prior to joining Bekum, Flammer served as vice president of sales for Kautex North America.

“We are thrilled to welcome Chuck Flammer to our team,” says Steve London, COO and president for Bekum America Corporation. “Flammer has unique expertise in industrial blow molding and packaging, with over 25 years of experience in the plastics industry. Chuck’s expertise and reputation in the business will service our existing and new clients well.”

For the past 20 years Flammer served in various positions at Kautex North America, including as vice president of sales. He holds a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology in addition to his undergraduate degree from Lehigh. He is a member of the Society of Plastics Engineers and has served as the chairman of the ANSI Safety Standards for blow molding machinery.
