Civil engineering alum Keith Kuzio ’85, retired CEO of Larson Design Group (LDG), has been elected board chair for Cargas, an employee-owned software and consulting company, according to a press release.
He has been on the board since 2016 and succeeds company founder Chip Cargas in this role. Kuzio was CEO of LDG for fifteen years and before that had worked as a project engineer for the company.
“Under Keith’s leadership, LDG transformed into an award-winning, 100 percent employee-owned firm with a national reach that consistently ranks in the ENR 500 and is widely admired for its quality, projects, and talent,” the article stated.
As a Cargas board member, Kuzio created the Audit & Risk Committee and helped with the agenda for the Nominating & Governance Committee.
Kuzio has identified continuing leadership development, securing Cargas’ culture, and increasing diversity as areas of focus.
