Get a head start and begin your Master of Science (M.S.) in Mechanical Engineering in Summer 2021. Students who elect a Summer 2021 start may be eligible for a 3-credit tuition waiver. The M.S. degree can be completed in one year (Summer 2021, Fall 2021, Spring 2022). Most Lehigh courses offered during the Summer 2021 term will be available via remote instruction.
Course offering for Summer 2021
During summer 2021, the following courses will be offered. For the MS degree, a combination of 300 level and 400 level courses can be used to satisfy the degree requirements. In addition, students can take courses in other departments towards the MS degree. Our interdisciplinary option for the MS degree provides coherent combinations of courses in other sectors of the University that guide the MS curriculum. If preferred, a student can design their own combination of courses. Detailed information on various options for the MS degree is given on the MEM website.

- Full Term: May 25 - August 12, 2021 – All of the 300 level and 400 level courses listed about extend over the summer full term.
Fall 2021 Admission:
- Application Deadline: July 1, 2021 (last day for web registration August 27, 2021)
- Fall Semester: August 23 - December 3, 2021
