Mechanical engineering alum Brett Skolnik ’90 has joined Edgemont Partners as a managing director to help grow its investment banking franchise in health care services, according to a press release.

Skolnik has over 25 years of experience advising both public and private companies in a variety of merger and acquisition, capital raising, and strategic transactions. He also holds an MBA from Columbia Business School.

He joins Edgemont from Baird where he was a member of the health care investment banking group covering the same sectors he will focus on at Edgemont. Earlier in his career, Skolnik worked in the health care investment banking groups at Piper Jaffray and Cowen as well as BMO Capital Markets, where he served as a managing director.
