Lisa Nibauer has over 30 years of experience leading global teams across five industries, from start-up companies to operating units with $1.6 billion of annual revenue. She is known for transforming businesses to deliver record sales and profits, while hiring, developing, and retaining top talent.
From 2020-2022, Ms. Nibauer led the OraSure Technologies Diagnostics business in Bethlehem, PA. Over her tenure, revenue increased over 400% as her team overcame significant obstacles to develop, produce, and launch a new rapid home test for COVID-19 in less than one year. In addition, under her leadership, OraSure secured multiple US Government contracts worth over $600 million and built a state-of-the-art factory.
Prior to joining OraSure, Ms. Nibauer spent eight years at Becton Dickinson, Inc. (“BD”), most recently as VP/GM, Global Medication Delivery Solutions, leading businesses such as IV catheters and syringes and needles. In that role, she had global responsibility for $1.6 billion of annual revenue and a team of over 300 people and was also accountable for the Global Marketing function for the largest business unit in BD. Prior to that, also at BD, Ms. Nibauer was VP/GM, PreAnalytical Systems where she led the $1.3 billion global blood collection business. Prior to joining BD, she held general management, sales and marketing positions with increasing responsibilities at Adlens Beacon Inc.(a Warburg-Pincus private equity funded start-up in Vision Care), Schering-Plough Consumer Healthcare (Bayer), and General Mills. Early in her career, Ms. Nibauer was a production supervisor and process/project engineer with Elf Atochem and ICI (now part of AstraZeneca, Henkel and AkzoNobel).
Ms. Nibauer earned an M.B.A. from UCLA Anderson School of Management and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Lehigh University.
