Brad is an independent senior executive advisor and private investor based in New York City.  He has over 40 years experience developing strategic initiatives that leverage analysis of industrial economics for growth strategies and performance improvement for capital and energy intensive manufacturing clients.  He is an expert in defining customer requirements for emerging technologies & services.

His firm, Bodwell Innovation Partners LLC, helps businesses develop new commercial value propositions and go-to-market strategies.  He performed operational diligence work focused on energy and raw material supply risks as a member of Alvarez and Marsal’s Private Equity Performance Improvement practice from 2018 to his retirement in 2025.  Before A&M, he led Procurement and Revenue for a Shell-backed growth-stage LNG production and distribution business.  As a consultant he advised oil and gas producers with Charles River Associates, large energy purchasers with Kearney Inc., and electric utilities and their technology providers with Booz-Allen and Hamilton (renamed Booz & Co and subsequently acquired by PWC).

Before consulting, Brad started his career with the Bechtel Group with developmental roles in financial, IT, estimating, project planning and construction management of electric power and natural gas assets.  He holds a BSChE from Lehigh University (1982) and a MBA from the Amos Tuck School at Dartmouth.
