Doyoung Kim is a Teaching Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Mechanics at Lehigh University.
Prof. Kim’s doctoral research focused on the mechanics of curved surgical needle-tissue interaction using experimental methods and finite element simulation.
Prior to her appointment to Lehigh, Prof. Kim served as an instructor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Temple University.
