Freshman Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering major Ellie Christman first found out from her friends that Lehigh was going online for the rest of the spring semester. The news was pretty upsetting, and Christman worried about the quality of her education, access to her teachers, and how she, her younger brother, and her parents would figure out how to give everyone the space and quiet they needed to get their work done.
But Christman says she and her family got into a good routine, and she managed to figure out ways to unwind—running, walking the dog, reading—after finishing her schoolwork. She also realized that those worries about her education were never really necessary at all.
