Yu Zhang is an Assistant Professor with the Department of Bioengineering and the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering in the P.C. Rossin College of Engineering and Applied Science at Lehigh University. Before joining Lehigh, he received postdoctoral training at the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, Stanford University, and also at Biomedical Research Imaging Center, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He was a Visiting Scientist at RIKEN Brain Science Institute, Japan. From 2013 to 2016, he worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Automation at East China University of Science and Technology where he got a Ph.D. degree in ECE in 2013. From 2010 to 2012, he was a Research Associate with the RIKEN BSI, Japan. He is the author of over 110 research articles that have been published in the prestigious Journals and Conferences, such as Nature Biomedical Engineering, Nature Biotechnology, Nature Human Behaviour, Nature Mental Health, NeuroImage, Proceedings of the IEEE, IEEE TCYB, IEEE TNNLS, IEEE TNSRE, IEEE TBME, AAAI, and MICCAI.
