In addition to his doctorate degree, Dr. Perevalov performed post-doctorate work at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Harvard. His research activities fall into three areas: modeling and analysis of wireless ad hoc networks (with a particular interest in the problem of information capacity and its dependence on node mobility), product portfolio management, and dynamic optimization and its applications. Dr. Perevalov teaches courses in operations research, statistics, and game theory. He joined the faculty in 2001.
