Inês Seabra is a Professor of Practice in the Department of Bioengineering in the P.C. Rossin College of Engineering and Applied Science at Lehigh University.

Seabra, a Coimbra, Portugal native, obtained her BS, MS and PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Coimbra.

She was an associate professor at the College of Agriculture of Polytechnic Institute of Coimbra, where she was part of the Food Science and Technology Department. Inês was a visiting scholar at Professor Verduzco's laboratory.

Her research interests are focused on high pressure and supercritical fluids extraction processes from natural products and their residues, and polymers/biopolymers for food package applications. She is currently interested in bottlebrush polymers, including their synthesis and applications as nanoparticles and antifouling agents.
