Profile
Mooi Choo Chuah pursues research in heterogenous network architecture design, disruption tolerant network design, network and Smart Grid security, and mobile/cloud computing. In particular, she maintains active research in design and prototype of content-centric mobile network protocols, mobile healthcare, smartphone-based mobile social networks, and resilient Smart Grid control networks. She has been awarded some 63 U.S. patents and 15 international patents on topics related to IP QoS, future & 3G wireless system design, resource management, and mobility management.
She is also the co-director of Lehigh's Computer Engineering B.S. program, and served as one of Lehigh's NSF Advance Chairs for 2011. Before joining Lehigh University, Mooi was a technical manager with Bell Laboratories' Advanced Communications Technology Center, where she worked on wireless communications, IP/MPLS protocol designs and other key contributions.
