Hannah Dailey is an Associate Professor and the Director of Graduate Studies in the department of Mechanical Engineering & Mechanics at Lehigh University. Her research interests include computational and experimental biomechanics of fracture fixation and bone healing, fracture nonunion, and mechanics of musculoskeletal tissues. Her group emphasizes imaging-driven engineering approaches to clinical problems in orthopaedics and currently collaborates with surgeon-investigators in hospitals worldwide. Prof. Dailey has publications in Journal of Biomechanics, Clinical Biomechanics, Journal of Orthopaedic Research, Injury, and JBJS. She lives in New Jersey with her husband and two daughters. In her spare time, Prof. Dailey also serves as co-founder and Chief Scientific Officer of OrthoXel, DAC, an Irish-based orthopaedic device company that grew out of technology developed while she was a post-doctoral researcher at the Cork Institute of Technology from 2009 to 2012.
