Jennifer Schuler is a materials scientist and engineering educator with expertise that spans alloy design, powder metallurgy, additive manufacturing, and semiconductor processing.

She currently serves as a Teaching Assistant Professor and Associate Chair in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at Lehigh University, where she teaches courses across the undergraduate curriculum, leads curriculum modernization efforts, and supports departmental accreditation and advising.

Her prior industry experience includes technical leadership roles at Foundation Alloy, Apple, GlobalFoundries, and IBM, where she advanced structural alloys, developed high performance metallurgical processes, and delivered manufacturing solutions for electronics and advanced packaging.

Schuler's research background includes the design of nanocrystalline alloys with enhanced damage tolerance, in situ electron microscopy, and investigations of grain boundary phenomena under extreme environments. She has authored peer reviewed publications, contributed to multiple patents, and presented her work at national and international conferences.
