The 2022 ISE Career Fair was held Monday night September 26th from 5:00 to 8:00 PM in the Asa Packer dining room of the University Center. Joining us this year in-person were nine companies, six of which had chosen to sponsor the event.
Students arrived early in the evening with resumes in-hand to meet their potential connections, and hopeful future employers. More than 50 ISE students, including undergraduate, graduate and PhD level students, made the trek to the UC on Monday in their best dressed formal attire. The students were able to converse at length with the companies in attendance and ask many questions on current job opportunities. Many students and industry representatives expressed gratitude in being able to speak without a time limit, and face to face with each other.
This year there were a wide range of industries and career opportunities offered by the companies in attendance, from healthcare to consulting and manufacturing. The career fair saw returning attendees such as Air Products, Becton Dickinson, and EY as well as new companies like The Home Depot and St. Onge Company, among others. Many of the companies had a Lehigh alum as one of their representatives, showing their eagerness to return and recruit from Lehigh’s student body. The Lehigh ISE Department continues to attract would-be employers for its ability to produce exceptional engineers in critical decision-making, analytics, and optimizing processes, systems and networks which can be applied to all sectors of business.
