The Healthcare Systems Engineering program has been collaborating with a coalition of industry partners and employers to sponsor an annual symposium where we look at topics of relevance in healthcare from an analytical, systems-based perspective.
This year's topic is about how obesity is affecting people's physical and financial well-being, and what solutions are being explored at a systemic level. It should be an interesting discussion that will paint a picture of a complex system in need of improvement by bringing together insights from different perspectives, from clinical to policy to economics and financial management.
The symposium will take place in Iaccoca Hall Wood Dining Room on Tuesday, Feb 7, 12 PM - 3 PM; lunch will be served.
