MSE associate chair will take on new role beginning July 1, 2020
Sabrina Jedlicka, associate chair and associate professor in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, has been named associate dean for academic affairs in the Rossin College, effective July 1, 2020. Jedlicka will succeed Greg Tonkay, an associate professor of industrial and systems engineering, who has served in the role for nearly a decade.

"Sabrina has been an educational leader at the department and college levels, including serving as co-chair of the Envisioning Team focused on education and director of the college's capstone (IPD) program" says Stephen P. DeWeerth, professor and dean of the Rossin College. "She is one of the leaders in the ongoing development of our new first-year curriculum, and will continue to lead our efforts in innovating, transforming, and growing our academic programs."

As associate dean, Jedlicka will run the college academic office, and will coordinate, at the college level, all of the undergraduate, master's, and doctoral programs in the Rossin College. She will work closely with the eight departments and the program directors across the college.

"We thank Greg for his service and committment to enriching the academic experience of Lehigh engineering students," says DeWeerth. "We wish him continued success as he renews his focus on teaching and research within the ISE department."
