Susan Perry, faculty graduate coordinator and professor of practice with the bioengineering department, has been at Lehigh for 20 years. And while she says the initial transition to remote learning was a challenge, it has also given her a deeper respect for the resiliency, creativity, and dedication of both her colleagues and her students.
As the semester comes to a close, Susan shares how she figured out how to teach a lab online, how her students figured out how to build prosthetics at home, and the unusual visitor who crashed her Zoom meeting. She also has a special message for all you seniors—she gets what you’re feeling right now.
