Dr. Storer is the co-director of the Integrated Business and Engineering Honors Program at Lehigh. His research interests include:

  • Sequencing and scheduling, especially robust, adaptive and stochastic problems, and stochastic combinatorial optimization (i.e., operating room scheduling)
  • Heuristics, including Problem Space Search based methods and methods based on stochastic integer programming
  • Estimation, simulation and modeling

Storer teaches courses in heuristic optimization, simulation, and applied statistics. He is a member of The Institute of Industrial Engineers (IIE), INFORMS, The American Statistical Association (ASA) and Tau Beta Pi. Dr. Storer received the Christian R. and Mary F. Lindback Award in 2009.
