ADVANCE

Our Lehigh ADVANCE Center for Women STEM Faculty supports inclusion and equity to enhance the climate for and success of women in STEM fields through best practices for recruitment, retention, and community.

CHOICES

Lehigh University’s CHOICES program engages middle school girls to participate in a variety of fun engineering and science experiments designed to foster a long-standing interest in STEM.

GEM

Lehigh is a member of the GEM consortium, a network of leading corporations, government laboratories, top universities, and top research institutions that enables qualified students from underrepresented communities to pursue graduate education in applied science and engineering.

GREER

Lehigh’s Greer Scholars Program provides funding and a support network for African American and Hispanic students pursuing engineering studies at Lehigh.

LUSSI

The Lehigh University Student Scholars Institute (LUSSI) program strives to cultivate a sense of community, belonging, and empowerment of first-year students who identify as first-generation, low-income, and/or come from an underrepresented minority background.

NSBE

The National Society for Black Engineers (NSBE) at Lehigh is dedicated to providing academic support to all students of diverse racial and academic backgrounds regardless of their choice of study.

RARE

Rapidly Accelerated Research Experience (RARE) at Lehigh is a multi-level, structured, comprehensive four-year pre-admission-to-graduation program that provides community and opportunities for students from backgrounds underrepresented in STEM fields.

SHPE

The Society for Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) at Lehigh focuses on the growth of all Hispanic STEM majors through professional guidance, workshops, hands-on projects, and more.

STEM-SI

STEM-Summer Institute is collaboration of existing summer programs and individual faculty to provide new opportunities for undergraduate student research engagement and to help diversify the graduate student body.

SWE

The Society of Women Engineers (SWE) at Lehigh aims to provide a support network for female engineering students through professional networking and socializing.
