Pasteur PhD Partners (P3)

Lehigh University’s innovative P3 program provides fresh thinking and a new approach to the ecosystem of support and resources around talented minds pursuing doctoral degrees in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). Named after Louis Pasteur—a researcher driven to solve urgent challenges in the here and now—the P3 Program provides four years of financial support for qualified prospective doctoral candidates.

 

Rossin College Professional Development

This program is designed to enhance the preparation of Lehigh engineering doctoral students for successful future academic careers. Through a series of courses, events, and experiences, students will gain the skills, knowledge, and confidence to compete in the academic job market. Students who are keen on entering the academic job market either immediately after your academic training or after a few years of non-academic training are welcome to apply to the program. To be eligible, you must be a full-time doctoral student who has at least one (but no more than three) full year(s) remaining in your doctoral studies. Nomination packets will include a nomination from your advisor and a statement of purpose. Nominations are accepted annually in February. Please inquire with your doctoral advisor and department for more information.

Rossin College Teaching

Newly admitted doctoral students are eligible to be nominated to this program, which includes a Dean's fellowship in the first semester of study. Students who are selected for this prestigious opportunity will be trained in teaching best practices through a teaching practicum and practical experience in their respective departments. This opportunity will equip students interested in shaping the minds of future engineers with the skills and mindset necessary to train and inspire aspiring students.
