TENURE-TRACK POSITION IN BIOENGINEERING:

The P.C. Rossin College of Engineering & Applied Science at Lehigh University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in the area of Technology for Health/Disability in the Department of Bioengineering.  Applicants are required to possess an earned PhD in Bioengineering or related fields by the date of hire.

ABOUT THE POSITION:

The Department of Bioengineering is committed to building research strength in Health Technologies in areas such as wearables, flexible electronics, diagnostic and therapeutic devices, point-of-care devices, neural engineering, user interfaces, prosthetics, remote monitoring, and population/environmental health technologies. The successful candidate will be expected to develop a strong research program in development of new technologies for improvement of health and/or management of disabilities. 

Successful candidates will have opportunities for collaboration with the newly established College of Health as well as the interdisciplinary Institute for Functional Materials and Devices (I-FMD) and Institute for Data, Intelligent Systems, and Computation (I-DISC) at Lehigh University.

In addition, the successful candidate will be expected to teach courses at all levels of the Bioengineering curriculum (https://engineering.lehigh.edu/bioe) and participate in departmental, college, and university service. Successful candidates must also be committed to the enhancement of a diverse, equitable, and inclusive environment in which world-class faculty, staff, and students can thrive to their full potential.
