Affiliated Lehigh research centers include the Center for Advanced Materials and Nanotechnology, the Center for Photonics and Nanoelectronics, the Chemical Process Modeling and Control Research Center, the International Materials Institute for New Functionalities in Glass.

Researchers also have access to a modern Health Research Hub and to state-of-the art facilities in spectroscopy and optical and electron microscopy.

In 2022 Lehigh opened the Health, Science, and Technology Building, and many of Bioengineering's faculty and labs now operate out of this facility.
