Clark Construction profiles Megan Calhoun '00 '01G for Women in Construction Week

Clark Construction marked Women in Construction Week (March 3-9) with a profile on Megan Calhoun '00 '01G, an alum of Lehigh's civil and environmental engineering and industrial and systems engineering departments.

Calhoun, who has spent 17 year with the company, is a preconstruction director and manages various aspects of project development in Clark's Western Region. She currently leads project development for the Cedars-Sinai Marina Del Rey Hospital.

"I don’t have a typical work day (which I love about my job!)," says Calhoun. "Some days I am in meetings all day with trade contractors, architects, engineers, and clients to work through solutions to whatever the latest challenge may be. Other days I get to focus more on strategy for either current projects or upcoming pursuits."

Calhoun discusses her favorite projects, including the design-build of the Los Angeles Federal Courthouse (LAFCH) and the Caltrans District 7 Headquarters, and the professional challenges she's faced in the full Q&A on the Clark Construction website.
