ISE Assistant Professor Martin Takáč recently gave a talk on current trends in Big Data and artificial intelligence at the Center for Scientific and Technical Information in Bratislava, Slovakia. In addition to the talk, Takac was interviewed by national TV stations about AI and its impact on the future.
 

Professor Takáč's research is widely interdisciplinary and focuses mainly on artificial intelligence and its applications in logistics, civil engineering, machine learning, and robotics. In addition, he looks into new optimization algorithms designed especially for high-performance supercomputers.

The talk was organized by the National Center for Science and Technology Popularization in Society, which hosts regular informal public meetings with scientists. The meeting is intended for the scientific community, academia, students, the decree, and the general public.
