BioE professor of practice will tackle curriculum innovation, student recruitment in new role

Susan Perry, a professor of practice in the Department of Bioengineering, has been appointed as assistant dean for academic affairs. In this role, she will join the the Rossin College's Office for Academic Affairs as a key leader in curriculum innovation, student recruiting, and experiential learning.

Perry will work with the new associate dean for academic affairs, Sabrina Jedlicka, an associate professor in the materials science and engineering and bioengineering departments, on efforts related to college-wide curricular innovation, student mentoring programs, and student recruiting and retention. Perry will continue in her role as a professor of practice, supporting the teaching and administrative needs of the bioengineering department.
