Sajeesh Thampi is an Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Bioengineering at Lehigh University. Thampi joined Lehigh in August 2023. His research mainly focuses on the development of advanced nanotherapeutics for cardiovascular disorders. Sajeesh has published over 25 research articles, 3 book chapters and 2 review articles and received citations >1000 according to Google Scholar. He is a receipt of several fellowship/awards, including National Research Fellowship-South Korea (KRF 2013-2015), Sandwich PhD award (2007-2008), SBE award (2007), DST travel award (2007), and Marie-Curie travel award (2006). Sajeesh is also member of several professional associations and serve as a reviewer for several peer reviewed journals in the area of Biomaterials/Drug Delivery.
