Lawrence E. White Fellowship

For Master of Science at the Lehigh ISE Department

 

The Industrial and Systems Engineering (ISE) Department at Lehigh University is pleased to announce a fellowship opportunity for those individuals wishing to advance their knowledge in any of the following master’s programs:

  • Health Systems Engineering
  • Industrial Engineering and Operations Research
  • Optimization

The fellowship is made available through the generosity of Lehigh and department alumnus, Lawrence E. White (’64, ’65, ’69), for full tuition toward 30 credits of master’s degree study (no stipend is provided).

Qualifications of Candidates

  • Must pursue one of the abovementioned master’s programs offered by the Lehigh ISE Department.
  • Must have the qualifications required for the chosen master’s program.
  • Must intend to complete the program within three years of study.

Application Information

Interested applicants should first submit their general Lehigh graduate application, which includes the following:

  • Academic transcripts that include final GPA.
  • Two recommendation letters.
  • A detailed CV.
  • Essay/Statement of Purpose: The applicant will explain why the master’s degree is desired and how the applicant hopes to use it.

To apply for the fellowship, send a cover letter detailing your interest in the fellowship as well as your application ID number to the Selection Committee Chair, Dr. Daniel P. Robinson (dpr219@lehigh.edu). Review of applications will begin February 15, 2025, and applicants should submit their materials by then for full consideration.
