Lehigh's Certificate Programs and Non-Degree Study options are beneficial to working professionals who wish to expand and update their education, as well as other graduate students seeking to supplement their core studies.

Certificate Programs

Lehigh offers 12-credit certificate programs to professionals seeking to expand their technical knowledge and skills:

Please also note that Lehigh's Office of Distance Education offers a variety of engineering educational opportunities, from for-credit graduate programs to Certificate Programs, and other non-degree and professional development options.

Non-Degree Study

Lehigh's non-degree option provide an avenue for working professionals to develop their knowledge and skills and for prospective students to engage in a graduate program before fully committing to one.

The non-degree option can be ideal for individuals who do not have the typical academic background required for admission to a Lehigh graduate program, as well as for those who are uncertain if graduate-level studies fit into their busy lives.

For students who ultimately choose to pursue a degree, noncredit courses can be applied to the full degree program. As such, these non-degree programs serve as a vital bridge to graduate school -- helping students make decisions about the pursuit of a graduate degree while gaining career-relevant skills as well.
