In its recently released "2022 Best Colleges" issue, Lehigh University held steady from its 2021 ranking of No. 49 overall among 391 U.S. institutions that offer undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral degrees. In the Undergraduate Teaching category, the university was ranked at No. 13, moving up from the No. 31 position in the publication’s 2021 ranking.
Among the best undergraduate engineering programs in the National Universities category, Lehigh’s P.C. Rossin College of Engineering and Applied Science moved up three slots to No. 45, and its undergraduate computer science program moved up six places to No. 98.
The U.S. News rankings take into account a number of factors that include graduation and retention rates, class size, SAT scores, student excellence, academic reputation, and alumni giving.
