Why a conversation beats a brochure
Program pages can tell you the credit count, the deadline and the tuition. They cannot tell you whether a research group is a good fit for how you work, how quickly a department answers email, or what it feels like to present at your first group meeting. Those are the things that decide whether a program is right for you, and they come from people.
Our ambassadors are current graduate students. They were where you are now, usually within the last two or three years, and they chose Lehigh over somewhere else. Ask them why.

Who are the Lehigh Engineering graduate ambassadors?
They are current graduate students in the P.C. Rossin College of Engineering and Applied Science, studying across our disciplines. They are not admissions staff — they answer from their own experience of coursework, research, advising and living in Bethlehem.
Do I have to apply before I can talk to someone?
No. Every option on this page is open to prospective students with no application, no fee and no commitment.
Does it cost anything?
No. All three options are free.
Are meetings in person or online?
Online. Chat now is a live text chat; the two scheduled options are virtual meetings booked through a calendar.
When can I schedule a meeting with the graduate recruiting manager?
Meetings with Angelo are typically scheduled during regular business hours, US Eastern time. If nothing on the calendar works for you, say so when you book and an alternative can usually be arranged.
What should I ask a graduate ambassador?
Anything a webpage cannot answer: what a normal week looks like, how much contact you get with an adviser, how people find a research group, what the workload is like alongside an assistantship, and what it costs to live in Bethlehem.
Can I ask about a specific program or department?
Yes. The ambassadors study across all eight departments, so you can usually be matched to someone in or near your field. For questions about admissions requirements or deadlines for a specific program, the recruiting manager is the better route.
Is the GRE required for Lehigh Engineering graduate programs?
The GRE is not required or considered for any Rossin College graduate program.
How do I apply once I have my questions answered?
