The Lehigh University section of the Society of Women Engineers (SWE), in conjunction with Alpha Omega Epsilon and Women in Science and Engineering (LU-WISE), will host the the sixth annual Women and Non-Binary in STEM Dinner on Thursday, March 23. The event, which is open to attendees of all genders, will take place from 6-8 p.m. in Iacocca Hall's Wood Dining Room, on the Mountaintop Campus.
Tickets are $5 and can be purchased online through March 17.
This dinner is an opportunity for undergraduates, graduates, faculty members, and engineering professionals "to have fruitful discussions about overcoming challenges associated with being an underrepresented gender in STEM," says SWE President Lauren Fountain '24.
The event includes an opportunity for casual networking and discussion; a catered, buffet-style dinner; and a keynote speech by chemical engineering alum Lisa Nibauer '89, who recently retired as president of diagnostics at OraSure Technologies.
