2024 Industry and Alumni Mixer

Dear Lehigh Alumni, Industry Partners, and current Lehigh students/staff/faculty:

You are invited to Lehigh University Department of Bioengineering's first ever alumni mixer on March 1st, 2024. This event is a cocktail reception held from 6:30-8:30PM at Maggiano's Little Italy in King of Prussia: 160 N Gulph Rd Suite 205, King of Prussia, PA 19406.

We are hosting this event to provide a space to make new connections; renew our old connections; strengthen our past, current, and future partnerships; and to cultivate a shared vision of future engagement.
At Lehigh, we prepare students to be critical thinkers, problem solvers, and innovators. The Department of Bioengineering offers a wide array of opportunities for companies to engage with student talent and to help build a pipeline of future industry, clinical, and academic leaders.

Some engagement opportunities we are hoping to develop include:

  • Career Exploration and Professional Development (host site visits, mentor a graduate student, visit our campus for networking opportunities, etc)
  • Academic Engagement (deliver a guest lecture, mentor a research project, serve on a thesis committee, etc)
  • Experiential Training (mentor students on job-simulation challenges, offer internships, host teams for on-site projects, etc)
  • Corporate Giving (develop scholarships, cover student travel to conferences, sponsor a research project, etc)

By attending this mixer, we hope to begin planting seeds of engagement and find ways for you to become involved  that are unique to you and your experience.

Please contact our graduate coordinator, Rebekah Short (rsj323@lehigh.edu) if you have any questions.

Unable to attend the event but still want to engage and support Lehigh's Bioengineering program? Visit our site here to learn more about financially supporting our program, and please contact our office to discuss ways that you can further engage with our department!
