Rich retired as a partner/ senior executive from Accenture after 30 years where he delivered process improvement and technology solutions to financial services and other clients.  While most of his work was with Accenture Consulting in New York and Ireland, he was an early pioneer in Accenture Operations.  Rich was also the global lead for several initiatives in workforce development and training.

Rich serves his community in various voluntary leadership roles protecting the environment and advocating for social justice, inclusion, and political and ethical action to leave the world a better place. He travels frequently, takes courses at University of North Carolina Asheville, and enjoys a variety of sports and fitness activities and time with extended family. Rich resides in Asheville, NC with his wife Karen. Between them, they have four children.

Rich received a B.S. in Industrial Engineering, with High Honors, in 1971 and a M.S. in Management Science in 1973 both from Lehigh University. He is a past chair of the Industrial and Systems Engineering Advisory Council.
