3D-printed concrete highlighted at National Museum of Industrial History

3D-printed concrete designs produced via an innovative technique developed by a Lehigh University team are the subject of a new exhibit at the National Museum of Industrial History (NMIH). 

“The Future of 3D Printed Concrete,” which opened for public viewing in May 2023 at the museum in Bethlehem, PA, spotlights a Lehigh collaboration with cement manufacturer Buzzi Unicem USA.

Lehigh ISE is celebrating 100 years!

In the academic year 2024-2025 we will accomplish 100 years of education in Industrial Engineering at Lehigh! An industrial engineering curriculum was first announced in the 1924-1925 Lehigh University catalog, and offered to undergraduate students entering Lehigh in September, 1925.

Students learn to see all the colors of the rainbow

Multiple flags adorn the Lehigh Pride Center in Christmas-Saucon Hall with a flurry of colors representing different identities to show all are welcome and able to thrive as their full, authentic selves. The Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering Department held a social event on April 18 to extend Lehigh’s community building resources for all faculty, staff, and students.
