The Lehigh MS degree: A path to promising bioengineering careers

Three women who recently completed the Department of Bioengineering master’s program highlight the depth of the program’s offerings, a curriculum designed to meet each student’s academic goals, and the variety of career opportunities open to graduates. Nelly Cheruiyot ’20, Megan Kozar ’18 and Whitney Lai ’18 each blazed their own path through the program, and they are now pursuing promising careers in challenging industry sectors.

Aslangil ’15G ’19 PhD joins University of Alabama faculty

Mechanical engineering alum Denis Aslangil ’15G ’19 PhD has joined the faculty of the University of Alabama as an assistant professor in the Department of Aerospace Engineering and Mechanics. 

His research group will explore “multi-physics and multi-material effects on turbulence and turbulent mixing that are observed in the nuclear fusion process, atmospheric, oceanic, and astrophysical flows, supersonic transportation, and combustion.”
