Computer science and engineering alum Cody Eddings ’15 discusses his career path—from Rossin College graduate to CEO/co-founder of a start-up and Android engineer at a large ecommerce company—in a “How I Got Here” feature by Technical.ly. 

Eddings credits his major program at Lehigh with giving him the opportunity to learn how to code, as well as teaching aspects of computer science and hardware and serving as a good introduction to the basics of software. 

Additive manufacturing company Desktop Metal, co-founded by mechanical engineering alumnus Jonah Myerberg ’98, began trading on the NYSE (ticker symbol “DM”) in December 2020, after a business combination with Trine Acquisition Corp.

Chemical engineering alum Theresa Yuraszeck ’03 has joined Applied Biomath as director of pharmacometrics and clinical pharmacology, according to a press release.

The company applies systems pharmacology and mechanistic modeling, simulation, and analysis to de-risk drug research and development. 

Civil engineering alum Matthew Yarnold ’03 ’05G, an assistant professor in the Zachry Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Texas A&M University, has received two awards that reflect his valuable contributions to steel construction research.

A $5 million gift made by arts philanthropist and mechanical engineering alumnus Kenneth R. Woodcock ’65 will endow a director’s fund for the Lehigh University Art Galleries (LUAG). The Woodcock Director’s Fund will ensure the protection and preservation of the university’s teaching collection and fulfill the full potential of LUAG as a driver for arts education and engagement for both students and the community.

Chemical and biomolecular engineering alumnus Daniel Roxbury ’07 ’12 PhD recently reported results from the development of a new approach to noninvasive monitoring of infections using a “smart bandage.”

Civil engineering alum Keith Kuzio ’85, retired CEO of Larson Design Group (LDG), has been elected board chair for Cargas, an employee-owned software and consulting company, according to a press release. 

He has been on the board since 2016 and succeeds company founder Chip Cargas in this role. Kuzio was CEO of LDG for fifteen years and before that had worked as a project engineer for the company.  

Electrical engineering alum Franck Brice ’95 has been named chief development officer for Maestro Health, a tech-enabled third-party administrator for health and benefits, according to a press release.

Brice has over 20 years of experience in business growth and enterprise transformation.
