Guo brings home poster award from NECZA Meeting

The 28th Annual Meeting of North-East Corridor Zeolite Association (NECZA) was held at Villanova University. NECZA is an outgrowth of discussions held after sessions at the 1997 Zeolite and Layered Materials Gordon Conference, Chaired by Charles Kresge. NECZA seeks to maximize discussion and interactions between the scientists who are attending the meeting.

Setiawan wins poster prize at CSNY Spring Symposium

The 2024 Catalysis Society of Metropolitan New York (CSNY) Spring Symposium was a one-day event held at the New Jersey Institute of Technology with participation from researchers representing various academic institutions in the north-east region of the U.S., as well as industry representatives closely involved in catalysis. The main event was filled with invited talks from both academia and industry, followed by a poster session showcasing graduate students and post-doctoral research.
 

Undergraduate research takes the spotlight on April 19

The David and Lorraine Freed Undergraduate Research Symposium, hosted by the P.C. Rossin College of Engineering and Applied Science, takes place 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Friday, April 19, in Lehigh’s STEPS Building (1 West Packer Ave., Bethlehem, PA). The day closes with an awards ceremony, which begins at 4:15 p.m.

The annual event showcases undergraduate research achievement, celebrates experiential learning, and encourages students to use research to enrich their educational experiences.

Students went bald this weekend at Lehigh University to raise funds for the St. Baldrick's foundation, which stemmed from one student's inspiration - Ben Bowman, a junior in the Integrated Business and Engineering (IBE) program; pursuing a bachelors' degree in both Chemical Engineering and Finance.
 

PhD student dePaul Miller receives Koerner Family Foundation Fellowship

Computer science PhD student dePaul Miller ’20 ’23G was recently awarded a $12,000 Supplemental Stipend Fellowship Award from the Koerner Family Foundation (KFF). 

KFF promotes engineering innovation, research, and development by supporting graduate students at American engineering institutions. The foundation seeks to inspire future generations of research-oriented engineers while helping the U.S. maintain global competitiveness across all engineering disciplines.
